      I highly recommend these in lieu of a breakable pizza stone. I’ve got the older 14 inch version, and it works well for baking pizza in the oven or on the grill.

        Our pizza stone broke a few years ago and I never got around to replacing it. I’ve been wanting to get back to making pizzas on the grill and you mentioned CI in your "SNS Kamado Pizza" thread, so I decided to check them out on Amazon. So here I am, $43 poorer but excited about a chunk of iron that’s headed my way.

        If your pellet grills can reach 450F, I use my Lodge CI pizza pan in the oven at 450, and get great results. It just takes longer than it does on the grill at higher temperatures. At 450F it usually takes 10-12 minutes to get done. I preheat the pan with the oven, and slide the pizza onto it with parchment paper, and off with my pseudo peel (lipless pan and a large spatula).

        All is well. I thought we only had one stone at our vacation house. My wife confirmed it this morning, and approved my purchase. Also agreed cast iron is safer to use on the grill. In fact, just ordered a second one for that reason.

      Note that this is also on sale for the same price on the Lodge website, direct from the MFG. Not sure if the Amazon ones are coming straight from Lodge, or another reseller.

      Of course, with Prime you get free shipping, so that might make a difference. Not sure if Lodge is offering free shipping for direct orders...

        Free shipping is on orders over $75 direct from Lodge, so if you are ordering several items the shipping would be free, but if you are just ordering the Pizza Pan alone you are better off ordering from Amazon. Comes through the "Lodge Store" but is shipped by Amazon.

          I just uncovered my kamado and took my pizza stone out of the oven to see if it would fit. Thank goodness it does and I don’t have to buy one of these… yet
