When our daughter graduated from college, we took her dorm refrigerator and put it on our deck. It’s served us very well for 13 years, even though it’s really cheap. This year I was looking at replacing it, and found this at Home Depot. The bottom half is 4.5 ft.³, about 1.5x that of a typical dorm fridge, and it has a separate freezer on top as well. This is a deal at $218.
A caveat on using these outdoors: if you live in intemperate climes, you can’t leave them plugged in when the temps go consistently below freezing. But what are you doing out there then, anyhow? I plug mine in around now, mid May, and unplug it usually around late October. Then it gets cleaned in spring next year.
This category of appliance is populated with lots of off brands, but the guts, the compressor and electronics, are really all the same. Like I said, we bought the last one in 2009, it’s been outside for about 9 years, and it still works fine.
Another caveat, if you go for this deal inspect the unit before leaving the store. Dings in the stainless front are common, I was told by the person helping me.

If you want or need something larger, and have room for it, the Vissani is only $299.
