20% + 10% for 30% off sounds nice. I have not been to happy with their shipping to California. Almost 4-5 days to get here and the product shows up at or near a 40 degree temp range.
Being from LA, I'm in your boat. I've ordered from them twice. First time came right away, all frozen (although some ice crystals already on the product). 2nd time, everything was well over 40 degrees. They made good though.
Anyone know if their brisket is a full packer or just the flat? The picture on their website looks like a trimmed packer, but at 11lb, it's tough to know. I also have an e-mail into them with the same question.
About Me
My name is Josh, not Joey (surprise), and I reside in Central Ohio. I have been grilling since I could drive, and smoking for around 15 years. Over the past couple of years I have gotten more into just cooking, and really enjoy sous vide and the flat top. I find myself experimenting with different foods and new ways of cooking as an outlet to work stress. I use every piece of equipment I own regularly, with the exception of the electric smoker. That only gets brought out on occasion to make jerky.
My favorite beverage is bourbon. I typically have at least 8-10 bottles open at any given time. While I have favorites, I enjoy sampling new and different varieties.
Smoking77 I've purchased them before and it's a full packer, trimmed up pretty well. Click seems to be hit or miss with people, but I have only had good experiences. So I just bought another brisket...
Joey877 Thanks for the info. I want to pull the trigger on the brisket because the quality of everything I've gotten there has been very good. I'm a little hesitant though because I usually like to wet age my briskets for a few weeks, and I probably wouldn't feel good about it, because their products frequently have punctures in them.
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

Let's leave the actual discount codes out of these type of posts please, they are hidden from the public (should be anyway) in the posts in which they reside. This way our participating vendors who agree to give us discounts aren't giving them to all of Google but only to our members.
Click the cartoon pig up above, this takes you to the Channels Page (essentially our table of contents- all the main channel categories). Scroll to Discounts and Deals, click it. Scan both the Members Only and Sales For Everyone sub-channels.
I forgot about the Pit discount when I saw the email earlier. Thanks for reminding me WI Bubba π I just ordered one because you can never have too many briskets in the freezer.π
If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
I've got a couple briskets in the freezer, but this does bring the Click chuck ribs back on my radar. Anyone buy those and have a good (or bad) experience with them? The price at $39 isn't bad, but I also don't know how many pounds they are.
