Pork Butt $0.99/lb again at Winn Dixie - Weekend Only

For those with access to a Winn Dixie market . . . Friday, Saturday, Sunday, March 4-6. Twin packs bone in.

They have been running that price in my area with Albertsons ‘s and Kroger taking turns over the last three weeks.

We don't have Kroger or Albertson's around here, but Winn Dixie generally runs that special fairly often. They also run half loins at $1.49 or $1.69 pretty often. Picked up four half loins at $1.49 right after New Years. Only one left, so waiting patiently.

Well, at that price we're lucky in Florida, feral pigs are considered invasive. No license, no limit, no season, day, night, lights, dogs, all OK on private land.

I wish we had a Winn Dixie around here. Last one I visited was in Richmond, VA when I lived there years ago. Great meats and excellent butchers.
