PK Grills is trying to clear their remaining inventory of the Original model that has been replaced with PK300. They are offering a free LittleMore grid, cover, and seasoning rubs. The price is $499.99 (prices increased this year, last year the PK-O was $399.99).
This is basically the same bundle as the AmazingRibs Exclusive bundle but is cheaper than the AR bundle. The difference is $29.00, buying the AR bundle benefits AR.
I'll be honest with you I've lost ALL respect for PK. I have a PKO which I love and will continue to enjoy. I wanted to get another PKO in red (which does exist) Their Insane price increases and current love affair with moving production to China.... Nope, I'm done.
CaptainMike My understanding is the PK-O is American made but the PK360 and others are Chinese made. Now that the PK-O is being phased out I guess they are all going to be Chinese made. If you want an American made model the PK-O is your last chance.

They made a choice. They were #1 at the sca comps. I figure they saw HB Rangers and M16's going for close to a thousand and the tiny Humphrey's searing station going for 400 and changed their tune. They fancied up and jacked up their price to be more inline with what they view as the comp - HB and M16 not Weber.
Im actually fine with that but..... you cant massively jack up your prices and call yourself premium while moving to China in the same breath!
that's what pushed me away from Memphis. Hopefully PK doesn't have the same issues, but it seems they are putting a lot more effort into advertising than they used to, so something isn't working.
