How long does it typically take them to ship? Placed my order 3 days ago but has not shipped yet.

Hulagn1971 I placed an order about three days ago too. I received a notice that the label has been created. They probably didn't want to risk having the order stuck at the shipper's warehouse over the weekend, it will probably go out Monday.

I placed my order shortly after seeing the OP... my order arrived yesterday (Sat 1/22). True, shipping is not free. But if the quality is what all y'all say, I don't think I'll mind

Curious - how much was shipping to VA?

It was $27. So my chuck plus plate of short ribs (had to grab those) delivered, after our AR discount, was $85.59.

I placed my order Tuesday evening, label printed Wednesday morning, shipped Thursday and arrived Saturday. Arrived frozen rock-solid, but I’d expect that, with yesterday’s high temp of 22* being the warmest of those 3 days.

Roasts were advertised at 3.2-4.2lbs; mine are 4.29 and 4.3. The meat itself looks really nice.

Chuck roasts locally are almost always either 7-bone roasts, or 2” thick chuck steaks. Even though it’s still chuck, I don’t see this cut very often, if ever. One will make a nice stew, the other maybe some old style Texas red.

Ordered 6 Flat Iron steaks, the label was created late on the19th, expected date of arrival was yesterday the 22nd. No show, tracked the order last evening after 9 PM, still appeared to be sitting in TX. See this morning shipped out of TX arriving in Vernon, California hopefully making it way to Long Beach, Calif. still frozen by today at latest tomorrow. TX is only a 4-5 hour flight from California.

Yeah, mine today took about 9 hours at 235-250 degrees. The one I did over Christmas took 12 hours, partly because I had a fire issue that delayed the cook for 2 hours right in the middle of it. I wrapped both at the end of the stall and pulled at 205-210 degrees.

I ordered on Wednesday. Got a text on Thursday that my order had shipped. I think at that time, the tracking link showed Sunday as the anticipated delivery date. Now since Saturday UPS still shows it as "label created". Weird, I've never received an email confirmation but my card has been charged....

I had a pasturebird shipment last week go all the way from California to my house with the only progress report being "label created." If you chose three day shipping that service doesn’t come with Saturday or Sunday delivery so it might show up today

Thanks jhapka! That would explain it. I hope it's still frozen when it gets here!

I ordered one a few months ago. It was labeled as something different, I don’t remember what but it was something weird, but was definitely a picanha.

Mine [finally] came today after two 1-day delays (UPS' fault, not Click's). Six Akaushi Wagyu chucks, all still hard frozen but no more dry ice left. All six are 3.2 - 3.7lb. Happy boy.

No room in the freezer for 4 of the 6, so they're in their foam cooler outside on top of my Grilla Silverbac temporarily (gotta love this time of year) until I can get them to the MIL's freezer, in which we're borrowing some space.

I love it! Only us northern folks get it. The garage or patio is a great auxiliary freezer!

Mr. Bones Our workplace freezer is a tiny dorm fridge w/ the tinier freezer up top in the same compartment. If you put a hot pocket in the freezer it's full, and a hot pocket only fits if the freezer's been freshly defrosted, otherwise only the frost fits.

Got my order today. How much freezer burn is normal?

One chuck roast (1st 3 pics) showed up with the vacuum seal compromised and a fair amount of freezer burn all over it.
2 Flat iron steaks, one with just a spot or two, the other with more.
Other chuck roast had intact vacuum seal but had some surface freezer burn all on one side.

Kinda bummed but I don’t know what is fair to expect. I'm guessing the first chuck roast isn't supposed to be like that but the others may just be par for frozen-meat services?

Upon closer inspection many of mine look like your last picture. I'm thawing one to cook either tomorrow or Sun so we'll see if it matters.

Pulled the trigger on 3 of the chucks and some ground beef. Anyone here ever tried the ground beef? What I get locally costs more and isn't as high of quality, so i figure I can't go wrong.
