- If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
$2.99 in the weekly ad for my local Kroger. I'll be picking up one or two to drop in the deep freeze. Last June I got two for $1.99 a pound, but $2.99 is still better than Costco or Sam's Club pricing right now.

All brisket pricing is falling. What grade is Kroger’s? All they sell here is select. Select here is $2.99, choice is $3.60, prime $4.40 and Wagyu is still around $6.99 as of 1/8/22.

I picked up a 15+ pounder for $2.99 a pound at Kroger yesterday. They only had two out after church on a Sunday morning, and one had just way too much of that hard fat on it. The one I got I plan to break down to the point, and cut the flat into two hunks, and vacuum seal it all for at use in at least 3 smaller smokes, rather than my normal full packer treatment.
