UPDATE: 10/14/2017:
We have 2 locations that are up and running in Northern California one in Santa Rosa and the other in Napa.
Location 1 Santa Rosa -
Operation BBQ Relief joined forces with Guy Fieri and his team, Sonoma Catering Co and Low Voltage Security provided 10,000 meals over the last 3 days to those affected by the wildfires and first responders in Santa Rosa community and surrounding area. We were able to do this with the help of the Salvation Army and other groups delivering the meals.
Location 2 Napa -
Our second location in Napa is made up of BBQ Teams, Amiee D'Maris Events and other chefs/cater's that have done 8,153 meals since last Wednesday!
We couldn't do this without the help of so many amazing volunteers wanting to help the affect communities. Many new members of the OBR BBQ Family!
Santa Rosa Meals Total to date - 10,000
Napa Meals Total to date - 8,153
Total - 18,153
We heard good news this morning from Cal Fire that the containment of 2 of the 3 largest fires are approaching 50% containment. Cal Fire announced they would be reducing fire fighter resources from a high of over 9000 down to 7000+. Below are the 3 main fires in our immediate area -
We anticipate that we will be serving meals until Wednesday/Thursday this week.

From Stan Hays of OBR:
Good Morning,
We wanted to let you know that we are deploying resources to Northern California. Wildfires are always a challenge. Just the nature of BBQ and smoking meats around a fire we are generally told no. But this time the Fire Department, City of Santa Rosa and Sonoma County invited us to come help. With so many disasters going on right now across the country everyone is spread thin. Governmental resources and larger non profits are also spread thin. We are doing what we can to help during this time.
We have a call out for volunteers, equipment, and donations to help fund this disaster. Below is the link to our Facebook page and the post we put up about this last night. If you would please help us by sharing this message we would greatly appreciate it.
In case you missed some of the media we received last month below are several links. thanks
