Editorial Director Dave Joachim Will Be Riding To Support ChefsCycle June 2-4

Dave Joachim, our Editorial Director, is a bicyclist (and drummer in a band, and an author, and an equipment reviewer - busy guy!) and he is supporting a great cause called ChefsCycle. We're featuring it here to inform our members.

Key info on the event:

• Dave will be cycling 200 miles in 2 days in Bend, OR, June 2-4 2025
• Cured sausage is his preferred ride fuel, and he wrote an entire article on “Pocket Meats” for a cycling magazine
• He also makes his own “caffeine cookies"
• 100 top chefs from around the country are participating in the event, including meat-savant Chris Cosentino

• Wheels of Thyme is hosting a big fundraising dinner with 20 top chefs on April 28 in Bethlehem PA (see the IG post)
• Every $1 raised for ChefsCycle provides 10 meals to hungry kids across America
