Operation BBQ Relief in Perryton, TX

a Facebook Story from Operation BBQ Relief showed up in my Facebook feed a couple hours ago.

There are a couple good pictures in it. The double rainbow pic is enough to bring goosebumps.

However, the link that Facebook provides to share the story doesn’t work…or I can’t make it work…and I can’t find the “story” on OBR’s actual Facebook page.

So, nothing to see here. Sorry for the false alarm.

This next link is for their website. It has “Volunteer” and “Donate” buttons at the top of the homepage, and all the general info on the organization.

So far, they’ve served about 6,000 hot meals to residents, first responders, workers, whoever shows up wanting a hot meal. One of the slides says about 3,500 pounds of pork has been cooked and distributed. (Sourced from the “story” that I still can’t provide a link to.)
