With ever increasing political and social strains and upheavals in one place after another, it's hard not to think about things in the news and want to discuss them. We get it. But, PLEASE, leave politics out of this forum. We're here to talk food and cooking and cookers, maybe some off topic talk about nature, photography, cars, pets, etc.

We are not now, never have been, and never will be a forum for political videos, talk, and opinions or arguments. Nor are we here for any other arguments, insults, or even religious talk. These topics will tear us all apart. Please go elsewhere for this if that's what you're after.

As a reminder, we enforce our Rules And Guideline for the good of all. Anyone repeatedly violating these rules will be given infractions (strikes) after they've ignored our reminders. Three strikes, you're out (yes, we boot repeated Rules violators)! We don't want to. Please don't let that happen, don't be that person!

About two weeks ago I was asked to help mod a 299K member FB group. It's a one-topic group about Weber kettles. The amount of political and other off-topic crap I have to decline is truly mind boggling.

I run 2 groups (one car focused and one military focused) at about 5K members per group, I've been a little busy the last few days but not too bad. The similar groups that aren't as well moderated I've had to leave because there's rarely a healthy discussion about anything.
