Introducing Our New Pitmaster Club Landing Page!

We are excited to announce the addition of a brand new landing page for the Pitmaster Club, effective Monday, March 31st! This page was designed to highlight all of the amazing benefits members enjoy, plus a few helpful links.

None of the content you currently enjoy is going anywhere, nor is the Channels page (a.k.a. the "classic landing page") that you are used to using. The only change is that when you first log into the Pitmaster Club, you will be greeted by a more graphically rich "tiled" landing page.

To get back to the Channels page you are used to using, simply click the first "Join the conversation in the Pit" tile/graphic.

Want to skip the new tiled landing page on future visits? Click the red "Switch to classic landing page" button located directly above the "Ruminations from Meathead" tile (circled below) and you will automatically bypass the new landing page on future visits.



You can also switch back to the new landing page by using the "Switch to new landing page" button located in the same place on the channels page.

Clint Cantwell Well, that is weird. When I first looked at pic of the page in your post, the Messages tile at the top showed 240 in red next to the word message, like in having 240 unread Messages. Now, that "240" is gone. Oh well...

Hopefully it will work great on my iPad. I am struggling on the iPad Pro 12.9 with the new changes to the public website.... it thinks I am on a small mobile device rather than a desktop, and is very sub-optimal.

My landing page has always been the “Recent Posts” page. I think it took me about 3 minutes after posting in “Introduce Yourself” to decide to set it up like that.

For seasoned vets here, myself included, Recent Posts is the way to go for sure. We're trying to make something easier for first-time or sparse visitors to help them to not be lost. Instead of focusing simply on The Pit (our forum), which some members aren't interested in, we're putting some of the other benefits in front of faces equally.
