While stuffing vac bags I like to avoid getting food on the seal area to keep the seal area clean. I cut the bottom out of a container and insert into the vac bag. Works pretty good!
ps: I love the convenience of sous vide vac pack dinner options!

I use alot of 6" x 10" bags in my chamber sealer so I got one of these for filling the bags...I had the same goal, to keep the edges clean for a better seal...I might make something like you did as well to use also...
Thank you! I've always used a wide mouth funnel, but that's a pain to keep the bag open and the funnel in place. Got some chicken broth in IP now, and some clean plastic pint and quart containers. Seems so much simpler!

Iām team āfold the bagā. Itās how I was taught at my old job. Or if I do realize product near the sealing area, I wipe it down with a dry paper towel. Best I can, anywaysā¦.. if the seal seems iffy, Iāll seal again near the original.
