Avid Armor and some Wevac bags from Amazon - got a workout this mornin'! So did my slicer.

Sending the kids back to college after Spring Break, I was hoping to cut down on the food bill to Chik-Fil-A and Taco Bell....

All sliced up... well, this is minus the spiral ham in the above pic, I had already bagged up about 8lbs from that one.

I like these bags. I used to think it was stupid to buy the precut, presealed bags, but honestly, this does save me a lot of time trimming bags and sealing the first end, etc. When you're doing a lot of meat, it's worth it, I think.

    Coolness.

I agree with you 100% on the pre-cut bags. Measuring and trimming and sealing that edge repeatedly is such a pain.

I agree. I am usually fine with measuring and cutting since my sealer has a built in cutter. But when I’m doing lots at the same time, I much prefer pre cut.

Agree on the pre-cut bags! Looks the new slicer performed like a champ!

I just bought the Avid Armor 32 but have yet to catch any fish nor smoke any meats to try it out. Your pictures make me confident as it looks like they shrunk up well.

Glad to hear that. I am looking forward to using it. Didn't catch a steelhead last night but I am sure there will be some items to vac in it pretty soon.,

Okay I used it for the first time today. Bought four large choice Chuck roasts as they were on sale for $4.99 lb. Froze all four to smoke later during the summer. It was quite simple to use and I liked the results. If this unit stays trouble free I will be happy with my investment

I have/use those bags. I also have a variety of rolls but lately I've been using the bags. Partially due for laziness. But if needed, I'll cut to size as needed. In fact, I just sat down from sealing party wings.
