FireBoard Drive!

The more I use it the more I love it! Per request, they sent me a new beta version of the web UI. As you know setting the drive functionality is not part of web UI yet. All of the FireBoard Drive (fan) functions are to be set using the app only, I and several folks like me are way too lazy to have this! They had a beta software version but it stopped working. Now there is a new beta version. This version worked perfectly for me today. In fact, if it weren't for having to actually eat, I didn't have to get dressed today.

It "seems" too, that they have played with the fan control al·go·rithm! All my other cooks, the fan control worked perfectly, but left kinda a jaggy graph of the cook. On this cook, all seemed to be VERY smooth in the chart department. The fan was running mostly between 1% to 10% most of the cook. Looks like they have dialed this in. Now if they can tell me to the minute when my cook will hit my set point, this thing is done!

Looks great. I too use a fireboard. I used mine for my cook this weekend also. I've a question though, your graph doesn't show anything getting at/near 130F. Did you just tease us with the graph, or did the export of the image fall short?

The graph was mid Cook. Just to show how smooth the spikes seem to be now, and the placement of the new drive button.

I have a pit viper mounted on my WSCGC with the built in fan port. Man, you can mount this on your 22" I am sure! Probably even work better!

Been running this (non Beta) on my Weber 22" for a while. Had to drill in my port for the Pit Viper.
