Anyone tested a CyberQ and Stoker II head to head?
Hey everyone, new smoker here (literally just made my welcome post a few minutes ago) and I was wondering if anyone has used a CyberQ and a Stoker II and could recommend one over the other. Also should it matter I will be cooking in a WSM 18.5"
I'm mostly concerned with the performance and reliability/durability and less around ease-of-setup/use.
Dad uses a cyberq. It puts out great BBQ and he likes it. It gave him some issues Easter, and he thinks it is related to an "internal" battery rather than the ones he can change himself. He has had it many years though.
I tried one when I decided to get a controller. I could never get it set-up, so returned it and went with Stoker. I am very happy with it, but can't make a true comparison, as I never got the one to work.
