realdocBBQ so you don't use a temp probe clipped to the cooking grate to monitor/control smoker temps? I've always used that one to monitor and control temps instead of the ambient probe built into the ring, as there is a pretty big difference in temperature between the two and I want the temp where the food sits. I applaud you on the squeaky clean look of your Ring. Mine is pretty dirty and well-stained.

Yes, you are right - sometimes I do. If it's not loaded down too much, like in that rib cook, it's not a huge difference for me, but if I have a lot of meat and stuff, I will at times use a grate-mounted probe.
You can see one here up near the top:

Man, that kettle is loaded! I really like how the ring has those notches in it to slip the cables in. Hey man, nice shot.

Glad to see you are still using the Ring from the Beta test. I am splitting my cooks between the Kettle with the Ring and the Masterbuilt Gravity XT with the mod that allows me to use the Fireboard as the controller. I am waiting for Fireboard to come out with their DC drive for the XT version of the Masterbuilt. Can you share your pie recipe/instructions?
