Can a Weber Connect connect to a bellows or do I need to upgrade to a ThermoWorks Smoke X4 & Bellows or something else...

I currently use a Weber Connect on my WSM 18.5" when I smoke. It has worked well, and I almost hate to part with a perfectly functional piece of equipment. BUT - I sometimes am challenged with maintaining temp in my WSM on longer cooks. I've learned the lesson that still humid days affect my smokes a lot differently than dry breezy days. I am fine being around the house when I start early morning smokes, but I want to graduate to overnight smokes for pork butts and briskets. For that, I think I will need a fan/bellow of some sort.

Is there a fan unit that can work with the current Weber Connect unit? I haven't found one...

Assuming that answer is no, what do people like to use on their WSM or Pit Barrel smokers? @BillMcGrath has a great review of the ThermoWorks Smoke X4 and an okay review of the bellows.

I’m uncertain about the use of the smoke x 4,I currently use the signals controller,but if it’s compatible with the bellows fan and has wifi/Bluetooth it should work for ya.

My Thermoworks Smoke X4 dropped from my SNS kettle and it’s not picking up any probe in port 1. I have the Billows and have used that a few times for my WSM. No complaints thus far but setting it up was a little confusing.

Sounds that it may have suffered damage from that impact,ThermoWorks people have helped me a lot in the past,they may have an remedy.

I have an old BBQ Guru Digi Q fan set up that I run occasionally. The only thing I don't like about it is the fan is battery operated so I have to remember to put fresh batteries in when I use it. But I have had no problems getting the wsm to run at 225-250 for hours without the fan in all types of weather. I would suggest starting with a full water pan, then filling it again with hot almost boiling water before you go to bed.
