So, I got the IQ110 for my 22" Webber, mainly because it was the only controller I could find that didn't require permanent modifications to my grill (I plan to sell or give it away when I move next year).
I have now used it twice, and had nothing but problems. I'm fiddling with it as much, if not more, than I did just using the vents. Biggest issue, it seems to be WAY off.
Both times I put my Thermoworks on like always, and then put the IQ110 on near it. Thermoworks would read 190 something, and IQ110 is blinking red (meaning more than 50 over temp). Slowly turning the dial to change the target temp and a little past 325 it says it's at temp (target was 225...). That means it's reading is off by over 100 degrees!
Before I contact the company, am I doing something wrong here?
