My wife and I were just talking about our mixer and she mentioned that she gets frustrated when adding items to the mixing bowl (say flour) and working around the paddle, and was thinking that a pouring chute might help. What do you think?
If you have any other suggestions for the mixer, please share.
I thought so too, but the chute is just another place for flour to stick and not slide into the mixer. I haven't wseen mine in years, but if I had it, I'd send it to you for free.

I use mine rarely. I usually put my flour on a paper plate and bend it to slide the flour in. Bend it gently or it will pop and flour goes everywhere! Ask me how I know 🤪🤪🤪
Or you could use those super pliable cutting boards or a baking mat.
The paper plate thing (those really, really cheap ones that are very thin work great) is what I use when I absolutely have to add a fine dry ingredient to an active mixing situation.
I use my stand KA mixer all the time for last 25 years. My bowl lowers for adding ingredients. Never had any difficulty with this process. If needed, but not frequently, I use a spatula to guide ingredients into the bowl.
Flour is gonna flour: stick, clump, release into a mass that explodes into the air on impact landing everywhere but in the bowl. The chute never worked well for dry ingredients. Using a paper plate or a piece of parchment paper I found to be the best. The chute works best for liquid ingredients where the mixer head gets in the way of pouring.
