I bought one of these off Amazon a few weeks ago on sale. Sadly I watched it come off the fedex truck upside down (box has multiple orientation markings) and then plopped in my driveway.
I let it sit almost 40 hours before plugging it in. Works great but loud as heck when it cycles on. I checked for loose things and gave the compressor some light love taps but it didn't do anything, so gave it a few days hoping it might quiet down. It didn't.
I couldn't find a way to contact the company via Amazon (that used to be really simple, but now it's not) and emailed Homelabs via their website. I had a response within 12 hours asking for a little extra info and realized the seller was not homelabs that Amazon had selected... crap, now Im thinking Im SOL... provided the info and recieved a request for my address, they sent me a new fridge AND let me keep the old one which Im donating to a family in need since it does work... just too loud to sit at ear level right behind me at my gaming PC.
New one came in yesterday, UPS guy pulled it out on its side via the drivers door but he had it upright in the truck. So after 24 hours I plugged it in. Still not whisper quiet (as advetised and some reviews claim) when it runs, but significantly quieter AND it's very efficient so it only runs for a little bit every couple hours.
I haven't tested the new one, but the old one was pretty even on temps and VERY close to set point at multiple spots in the fridge. Because of the fan you can't use the very top rack position but I wouldn't Anyway.
Next time I need a product homelabs makes I'll check them out first due to how easy the whole "return" process was.

And no, set temp will not be staying at 50 but more like 36 or so since I obviously have a wide taste range in beverages so theres no ideal setting, but American mass produced swill tastes best COLD.
