    Piezano

Saw a commercial on TV this morning for this indoor pizza cooker.
    The Piezano...
    Anyone have one?
I wonder if it actually works as claimed... or will we soon see them on the discount shelf at the "as Seen On TV' store 😂

It's got independent top and bottom temp controls.
      Should work fine.

We need you to buy this and write a review. It's for science.

I love the clever name, Piezano. I think paisano means friend, neighbor, etc? Pizza is my friend and something that makes pizza for me is also my friend.

We had dinner with friends this past weekend. Two couples had these and cooked several pizzas. I thought the pizzas were great, nice crisp crust and no underdone toppings. There was a Piezano delivered on our porch when I got home from work today.

I have one, and its crap. At least it seems that way - I've only used it 3 times, so maybe there's a learning curve... but so far, not impressed.

prepperjack What don't you like about it or what issues have you had with it? I'd like to learn from your experiences.

In no particular order: There's not a lot of space to work with because of the lid. Expanding pizza dough has a tendency to get the edges of the lid messy, so you're limited to thin crust type pizzas. The stone is nearly impossible to clean properly, so has a tendency to stick, even if preheated properly. The upper heating element will usually burn or nearly burn the pizza directly under it, while the rest is just fine - though with a proper peel and turn the pizza, that can be fixed by turning
