Anova Precision BT not connecting

Current cookers Weber Spirit 3 burner with a full insert griddle added. A 22" Kettle with vortex SnS and OnlyFire pizza oven. A Smokey Joe and the most recent addition a Pit Barrel Jr with bird hanger, 4 hooks and cover. ThermoWorks Smoke 2 probe, DOT, ThermoPops and a Thermapen MK4. 3 TempSpike wireless meat thermometers.

Anova Precision BT not connecting

I haven't used the in a while. Set it up and neither of my devices I use, a tablet and phone couldn't connect just an error. I checked the app and it was updated on the 14th of this month. Im wondering if they did something? I've never had an issue before. I have the older BT model. Anyone else having an issue?

Best idea I have so far is tell the device/app to forget the WiFi and relog in.

My second SV unit I intentionally bought with no wi-fi connectivity. It's got a dial and an on button. Sometimes technology makes things more difficult than it needs to be. It's like someone sold us the idea that a "light switch" needs to be connected to an "app." No it doesn't. Flicking on the light when you enter the room is way easier than opening a @#$@#%$@ app.

Sorry to hear that, Richie. I’ve never had a problem with my Anova, but then it is Wi-Fi and not Bluetooth. I hope you get the problem solved soon.
