    Elevated Cooking Grate for My Kettle

    My new 304 SS Elevated Cooking Grate for my Kettle from Adrenaline Barbecue just arrived. I'm excited and another shipment (304 SS Roasting Rack for my Drip 'N Griddle) arrives Friday.

                Dang, they came out with this like 2 months after I got one of those Hovergrill grates from their competitor (Smokenator/Kettle Pizza people). This one looks more heavy duty.

                      I finally had to order me a 22" Easy Spin, tired of having to remove my grate cuz the Weber hinge isn't large enough for the SnS....ordered the ECG as well. I've been doing ALL of my kettle briskets using a rigged elevated grate, using an 18" grate propped up on 3 or 4 wood chunks. Best way to do a kettle brisket or butt IMEO, puts the meat up where the heat is. You get much better coal efficiency.
