Not too bad an idea. Seen similar products that hold a couple of racks but that one is for the serious cook !!

I've tried several of the upright racks, none of them work worth a damn. I just don't get it, how they keep selling, how people recommend them. They're never wide enough, the ribs flop all over, they're never tall enough, it's just a constant disappointment.

So I built a 2nd rack for my smoker with some 5" lag bolts, flat washers and a baking rack. Gives me a way to fit 4 racks comfortably in my little smoker rather than 3 racks of babybacks squeezed in WAY too closely, or only 2 St. Louis.

That looks like a good idea for the kettle grills, but doesn't do much good for me, I don't think.

I've done the same thing for years just using stainless steel kabob spears. Ribs end to end-kabob spears strategically placed and WAALLAA instant rib rings, and in whatever diameter you like or need.

wow! just think with a bump stick option you could feed the troops automatically!
(disclaimer: I don’t know what a bump stock is but that rack looks dangerous!)

Quick definition of a bump stock = good way to waste ammunition for most people.

My only experience with full auto was running with the Gurka's in Iraq. Those little dudes know how to have some fun. They can also be scary as hell. Never ask one to hold his kukri!!! Ask me how I know.

That's what I'm talking about--and you can expand it to 2 or 3 larger rings around the outside.

NOW you got me thinking with the meat pineapple comment. What if one did try it? Would the flavor transfer into the rack of ribs?

Doubtful, But on the surface of the meat, you might notice.

Here is what i'm going for next weekend then.
Skewered ribs - pineapple in the middle. And I'm going old school on this one. Going to add whole cloves to the pineapple before wrapping the ribs around it. I used to love the pineapple ham with the cloves.

I saw this contraption on facebook the other day... my first thought was... this won't work with an S&S. I'm not a fan of the vertical rib rack either... so I've been limiting myself to 2 racks at a time until I can find a better solution... but that's really all I need for my wife and myself, and leftovers for me. Rib meat and rib bones really kick ramen up a notch. I love ramen, but I have to do something with it... can't just cook it as is out of the pouch. I pull the rib meat off the bone, leave it to the side, and boil the rib bones in the water for 3-4 minutes before adding the ramen. Then throw in mushrooms, some lemon grass, a dash of fish sauce, then pour the whole shebang over the rib meat. Sometimes, I'll crack an egg into it the last 30 seconds to get a nice poach.
