Experience with Extreme Max Argentine/Tuscan Grill Kit for Kettle?

Apologies if this has already been discussed on this channel, but a quick search didn't turn up anything.
My nephew asked me what I thought of this kit for a 22-inch kettle to allow adjusting the height of the coals:

I don't run a kettle, so couldn't offer any advice. Thought I'd check with the good folks here if anyone has
    any experience with this product.

    Thanks!

It looks pretty cool but I don't know how it will hold up after a bunch of cooks.

If he lives in CA and likes the thought of Santa Maria style cooking, Santa Maria BBQ outfitters has a small model for about the same price.

Thanks, tbob4. That's actually the first thing I suggested to him. But we're still curious if anyone has actually tried one of these out and can relate their experience.

I have not used one. I imagine it would do a pretty good job. You would want to get a top Weber grate dedicated to charcoal and wood. I would have to see it in person to let you know if I thought it went up high enough but I will admit it is intriguing.
