Experience with Extreme Max Argentine/Tuscan Grill Kit for Kettle?
Apologies if this has already been discussed on this channel, but a quick search didn't turn up anything.
My nephew asked me what I thought of this kit for a 22-inch kettle to allow adjusting the height of the coals:
Lonestar Grillz 24x36 offset smoker, grill, w/ main chamber charcoal grate and 3 tel-tru thermometers - left, right and center
Yoke Up custom charcoal basket and a Grill Wraps cover.
22.5 copper kettle w/ SnS, DnG, BBQ vortex, gasket and stainless steel hinge kit.
Napoleon gas grill (soon to go bye bye) rotting out.
1 maverick et-733 digital thermometer - black
1 maverick et-733 - gray
1 new standard grilling remote digital thermometer
1 thermoworks thermopen mk4 - red
1 thermoworks thermopop - red
Pre Miala flavor injector
taylor digital scale
TSM meat grinder
chefs choice food slicer
cuisinhart food processor
food saver vacuum sealer
TSM harvest food dehydrator
Thanks, tbob4. That's actually the first thing I suggested to him. But we're still curious if anyone has actually tried one of these out and can relate their experience.
I have not used one. I imagine it would do a pretty good job. You would want to get a top Weber grate dedicated to charcoal and wood. I would have to see it in person to let you know if I thought it went up high enough but I will admit it is intriguing.
