Hmmm... it seems to me that Pit members ought to have/create a must have accessories list for each cooker listed on AR.
We're all a little different but we learn from each other.
What we've learned from the MCS concept is that buying a new cooker is just the root of the long term investment of that cooker.
Let's take Someone that wants to learn to grill some steaks. They stumble onto AmazingRibs.com. and Meathead tells them they must buy a Thermapen. Then Pitt Boss tells them they must buy a Slow n Sear. Then someone like me says you really need a BBQ Dragon. Then GrillGrate Brad tells them they need GrillGrates. Then there's the Hover Grill guy for wings and more racks of ribs. Then the thought of smoking food and temperature regulators come into the picture. Don't forget pizza's and Chinese food, wok's, pizza stones and their accessories. The list goes on and on.
Pretty soon your $99 investment is over a $1000!!!
Why???
Because you stumbled onto AR... paid the price, $24, to get in the Pit and saw the beautiful pictures of unbelievable food, prepared on inexpensive cookers, followed by stories of how extraordinarily tasty they were, with a list of the accessories required to duplicate that cook.😎
Meathead created the discussion with a recipe about how to BBQ kick ass ribs... then the entrepreneur's approached the site with ideas hoping to build their businesses off of his great recipe and writing ability to get people interested.
At the the end of the day... Meathead came up with a great idea.🤙
