Is this guy OCD, or am a dirty cook?

I was watching some BBQ videos this morning and came across a couple from "Mike's Man Cave". He uses a SnS and Drip & Griddle combo just like I do. At the end of each video he advocates putting both devices in the dishwasher when cleaning up.

Now, I can possibly see the D&G in the dishwasher. However, it's easily cleaned by hand in my case. What got me almost laughing was putting the SnS in the dishwasher. I just empty any remaining water; wipe it out with a couple of paper towels; and she's ready for the next cook... simple.

So, my question is, "Do other folks go so far as to put their SnS in a dishwasher, or am I a dirty cook?"

I clean my SnS as often as I clean the flux capacitor on my truck.

Yeah my stuff is not nearly as clean as his, and I'm quite sure they function just as well. What's more, I think there are several things he's doing wrong in those videos... cook-wise. I need to reach out to him.

Agreed. There seems to be a lot of things he needs to adjust in that cook.

Every once in a while I scrape out the water reservoir, because something accidentally dripped in there. Or I have to pull out a stray briquette. That's about it.

Wow, that video was hard to watch! So many things wrong... To begin with, none of those looked like baby back ribs to me.
