"Clips" for Weber Kettle???

As I noted above, I use two on my 22". But I really liked the whole concept of fuzzydaddy huggin his lid. I think we need pics!

FireManHawkerXP If I can remember when I'm back home (about 2 weeks) I'll do another "hug" of the lid and see if I can make a slight adjustment and maybe get my wife to snap a photo for you. If I'm able to get a better fit then on my next cook I'll forego the binder clips and see how it goes. My name will not be changing. Hehe!

I used four 2" binder clips to seal my 15yr old very leaky 22" kettle.... or am I measuring incorrectly? Regardless, they instantly fixed the problem.

Mine leaks a little but has no problem holding temperature. But I got the clips anyhow because they are cheap and I was at Staples already. Wasn't going to miss the $4, and what the heck.

I did my first (empty) run yesterday and can happily report that your clip suggestions worked great. I had two leaks across from each other and two clips fixed 'em fine.
