+1^... It's a revolutionary accessory for the kettle. It makes your kettle a searing machine and also turns it into a legitimate smoker.
      Money well spent guys.👍

Now that you have MCS... What's your next purchase?

Congrats Kettle_man! It's a fun and very well-tuned product to use.

Excellent choice! IMHO, you could not have bought a better accessory for the Weber kettle.

When I get around to cooking a pizza, 2 SnS should come in handy to get heat from both sides and hot.

It should come as standard equipment with any Weber kettle purchase. At the very least Weber should offer it as an add-on. I've had mine for maybe a year and it now never leaves the kettle. Even if I'm just doing burgers and dogs, everything is cooked with it using the cool side and reverse sear method.

Follow the cooking instructions on http://www.abcbarbecue.com and you'll wind up loving it as much as I do mine.

I've had mine a few months now and have been loving it. It'll definitely add a new dimension to you kettle cuisine. Take some time to fine tune your techniques with temps and smoke. If you're haven't already, investing in a thermometer that can monitor both grill and meat temps is highly recommended. There's several options out there in several price ranges, and there is a review and rating of them on this site, and well as many forum threads on them.

              Happy kettling!

During yesterday's dry run I was able to maintain 250° for a short period of time. I was interrupted by family concerns and had to shut it down, but today I plan to slow cook 2 whole chickens.

Slow cook chickens? That's a great idea if you like rubbery skin.😆 Crank it up to 350° and get the skin crispy.👍

The Weber Co needs to admit they got out thought, discontinue the Smokenator and buy Slow N Sear from David Parrish ... Then we Pit members could all say we knew David Parrish before he was filthy rich.😎

lol well Weber doesn't actually own the Smokenator and there's a ton of aftermarket accessories out there that have a symbiotic relationship with the kettle. I'm guessing they like it that way. Y'all are just gonna have to put up with non filthy rich David Parrish

Oh hell David just beat them at their own game. Making a Kettle cooker to fit your SnS would be a piece of cake.😎

It's like all the plugins for software out there like PhotoShop and FileMaker. Sometimes the program developers incorporate the plugin features to the main program, sometimes they don't. IMO Weber would only notice if people stopped buying their charcoal baskets because they were buying SnS instead.
