Yesterday I spent the day with Stephen from Fireboard at my house in Oklahoma shooting some video footage for the Fireboard Ring and other products.
I've been using the Ring for about 18 months now and it is a really great accessory for the Weber kettle 22". I know Weber now has a 'similar' product, but from what little I could see of it, it doesn't look nearly as robust, nor as versatile as the Ring.
Unfortunately, as many of you know, the Ring is only available outside the U.S. right now - Aussie-land, New Zealand (Kiwi-land), Canada (eh?) and in Europe.
Byron from Fireboard reached out to me a couple of weeks ago because I am relatively close to them (3 hours) and they sent their videographer to shoot some stuff. So you'll see my mug doing some Fireboard promo stuff upcoming soon - not just for the Ring, but also have been using the Fireboard 2 Drive (of course, it controls the Ring) as well as the Spark and the Pulse. I'm definitely loving it. I've been a Fireboard Fanatic (or Fanboi, some would say!) for many years, so this was a match made in heaven for me. lol
Anyways, a couple of pics of our video shoot, and if I can find a way to post the single snippet of video The Wife sent me, I'll put that up, as well. Hopefully these videos will start launching in the next couple of weeks at least, for our international friends.
