    First cook

    Ordered my Slow and Sear last week and it arrived Saturday. Installed it today and threw some ribs on the kettle. The ribs cooked for 6 hours and I had no problem maintaining a temperature of between 225 and 250 and the ribs were awesome. The Slow and Sear is the best addition you can get for the Weber Kettle

        Did beef short ribs today on the 26", opened it up to 275 and maintained that very well for 7 hours. Pretty amazing what you can get with so few coals, thing is probably more efficient than my PBC.

          For smaller cooks I'd say it's the best bang for the buck out there for fuel efficiency, ease of use, and competition quality results rolled into one accessory. I've done a few side by side cooks with my stickburner w/ all logs and the kettle w/ SnS and it's always VERY hard to tell which food is which.

            Slow and sear next on my list. Started to order it last week but the Thermapen mk4 won out. SnS will be coming soon.

              Have to agree that the SnS is a perfect match for the 22.5 Weber kettle especially when doing small cooks.
