    Need a favor

    So we got an email from a customer today... He said he was trying to leave us a review on Amazon, had typed it all up, but the submit button was missing. At first I'm thinking "operator error" and asked him to make sure he was logged in. To which he tells me he's logged in and has left many reviews and knows what he's doing. Oh and he's submitted a report to Amazon to see what the issue is.

    This got me to thinking, though, that we haven't gotten a review on Amazon in a couple of weeks, so I'm beginning to wonder if the review system isn't working for us for some reason (seems far-fetched but I'm a worrier). Seeing as we need all the reviews we can get anyway, I'd appreciate it if someone would try to leave us a review, and let me know whether or not you have any issues submitting it. Here's the link to the review page. Thanks to anyone that can help.

    David Parrish what is strange is the last review is dated December 1. One would think you would have at least one review in the past 3 weeks. The submit button popped up for me, but since I have used the SnS yet and I didn't submit a review. But, it has the appearance a review can be submitted.

      Yes that's what got me to thinking that we might have a problem. The chances Amazon aren't working are remote, but it's been so long since we got a review that I'm thinking just maybe something is amiss...

    I went to Amazon to try to assist you. I clicked on make a review and my old review popped up. I revised it some and hit submit and it all worked fine.

    I posted a review months ago even though I didn't then own a kettle or a SnS, just to help you out.😆

      Much appreciated. You'll have to update it once you've taken the SnS and 26" for a spin or three

    I just posted a new review so we'll see what comes of it. Right now it is in that Amazon status of "processing your review", but I should get an email once it posts.

    I also reviewed two other new items so we'll have some basis for comparison if one goes through but another one does not. For now, all three are in the same processing state.

      Update: My review is posted now so it seems to be working. Only took about 20 minutes for it to go from the processing state to view-able on the site. Same was true for the other 2 reviews I did.

      It is the first new review though in 24 days though...

        Thanks Butterman, it looks like the system is working.

        @everyone else, if you haven't left a review, this is a shameless request for a few more tests of the system. Reviews as they come in move us higher up in Amazon's listing system.

            I tested the checkout on Amazon on 12/22 for an SnS and it worked just fine.😆

          Just posted a review. (5 star of course!) I got the email, and sure enough, it is posted on Amazon.

            I just updated my review with pics of my cook yesterday (standing rib roast). The roast was literally perfect. Cooked the roast until it hit 127 and then did the sear until I got to 133. Had to slice an end off and slap it back on to placate the wife who like meat med well. She got her cut at 145; I am slowly trying to have her see the light, as it were. Has been 20+ years so I am taking the long view
