Dalstrong Gladiator series 12" slicer. I had a Victorinox slicer but I apparently left it somewhere, likely my brother's house last Thanksgiving, and I really like the first Dalstrong knife I bought, so I picked this up in advance of the holidays. It feels wicked sharp, but I haven't cut anything with it so far. Also, there blade feels a little bit less flexible than the Victorinox, which I think is a good thing.

I have a couple Dalstrong knives. I had pretty low expectations but I have really enjoyed them overall. I got a 10 inch Gladiator bullnose butcher knife and a 10.25 inch Shogun chefs knife. They were really sharp out of the box and have stayed sharp for a few months of regular use.
There are a few issues with them and they definitely aren't $300 knife quality but for the price they are great. I don't know if I would buy an "everyday" knife from them but for a big, giant slicer like the one you got they are very good.

Love those big granton blade slicers. Did you get that on the recent 20% off promo? I'd been holding off on a whimsical purchase from them until I got that notice and then an additional 10% off with the spin of their digital wheel of fortune. The pic below shows in comparison to an 8" Wusthof chef knife.
I can now legitimately say, "Now this is a noif!", although they call it "The Devastator".
