    We had a wholesale client that had the “tabletop” version of this. Yet, couldn’t pay his invoices. Go figure…..

    Beautiful! Aluminum and stainless, probably quite a bit lighter than the original 1898 model.

        It IS stunningly beautiful. Forget the price I just don’t need to slice enough meat to think about a slicer. Of course if it came in orange….

          So last week I suggested this type of slicer to DaveD and was met with less than enthusiastic response. Price, schmice.............art and functionality in one package, what's not to love?

          BTW, there's a different model but similar Berkel for sale in Houston. Only $2850. It's missing a few parts, probably a repo from a failed restaurant. If you go to the Berkel parts pages be ready for some serious sticker shock on individual parts...

            You're right, it's the Globe 14". I've only looked at the pictures so I may have missed some, but it's missing the forward blade guard, the "fat" catch pan, and the two rods that attach to the side to hold the catch shelf. If the pics are correct there are two shelves included so that's a small extra.
