    My new Cutco Knife

I’ve had and have loved using my Cutco 7 1/2” vegetable knife for the past 20 years.

My better half knows how much I love the above knife.

We just celebrated our 32nd anniversary and this is what she gave me.

Isn’t it precious. It’s a 4” vegetable knife. It reminds me of an old single edge razor blade. I’m sure it will do great things to garlic, shallots, green onions and other smaller vegetables.

Could I have lived the rest of my life without this knife, sure but how fun would have that been. 😆

I have just one Cutco knife, but it is probably the most used knife (apart from my chefs knife) of my collection. It is the wide, serrated utility knife. Also have the Cutco scissors that can cut a penny.

    Enjoy!

I want one too, now that I've seen yours.

Seriously, it looks as though it would be really handy. Let us know how you like it after you've put it through its paces.

That is cute. What do you guys use to sharpen your Cutco knives?

Carolyn I highly recommend checking out WorkSharp. They have a variety of user-friendly sharpeners in several price and quality ranges.

Huskee I ordered a Work Sharp. It was a little cheaper than the Cutco and does more. Thanks

Carolyn here is the Cutco knife sharpener I use in between sending my knives to the factory to be professionally sharpened.

I was watching that video today and was thinking of getting one of those.
What are the sharpening blades made of?

It’s a fun little knife. I’ve done some slicing of garlic, ginger, green onion and chives with it.

It is a bit small for my hand though. I wear 3XL gloves and it is a bit hard to handle. Someone with smaller hands would find it much more useful in my opinion.

You can always send it my way. JK.

The little knife I love (that I thought I wouldn't) is the birds beak knife.
