While there is not a BlueTherm Apple Watch app, BlueThermPro notifications from iPhone are mirrored on it. And the watch has much better bluetooth range than the BlueTherm. In my case I can set my phone up in the kitchen, where it gets good signal from the BlueTherm outside, and then roam all over the house and yard never losing connection from the watch to my phone. I cannot check the temperature on the watch, but I do get a tap on the wrist and a notification on the watch if a temp goes out of range.

I got a stall at a nearby farmer's market, have been doing some catering and have people asking about wholesale so I wanted something sturdier than the Maverick for commercial use. I like the BlueTherm but it seems to be be built for commercial use where it is always paired with a device--picture an iPad mounted on the wall in a waterproof case displaying data for multiple units. If you pair it to a device and then wander out of range with the device the app "forgets" its profile, which means the alarms are reset to default temperatures (not what you want), and all the pretty logged graph data (shows you the last time and how often you opened the smoker and the effects thereof) is gone. You can reload the profile to get your alarm settings back but your temperature graph is gone unless/until you download the data to PC via USB cable and view it there. And, according to the manual, it doesn't measure accurately while connected to USB.
