its so freeing to be able to get stuff done and know that the Weber/SnS are maintaining a steady temp between 225 and 250, and that my strip loin is now at 108.9F without running out to the back yard in the dark to check it constantly...
Totally agree with that. I rely on mine for the same piece of mind. I bought one for my son who thought he would never have time to tend a bbq pit. He not only bbqs frequently but now can multi task while cooking some great food! Smoke is a great product.
I just got my smoke. Used it yesterday. I never have to worry about the temperature. I use a pellet smoke. Almost like set it and forget it. It’s like the heavens opened up and I saw the light. I even bake bundt cakes.
Hi, my name is Darrell. I'm an OTR truck driver for over 25 years. During my off time I love doing backyard cooks. I have a 48" Lang Deluxe smoker, Rec-Tec pellet smoker,1 Weber Genesis 330, 1 Weber Performer (blue), 2 Weber kettles (1 black and 1 Copper), 1 26" Weber kettle, a WSM, 8 Maverick Redi Chek thermometers, a PartyQ, 2 SnS, Grill Grates, Cast Iron grates, 1 ThermoPop (orange) and 2 ThermoPens (pink and orange) and planning on adding more cooking accessories. Now I have an Anova sous vide, the Dragon blower and 2 Chef alarms from Thermoworks.
Hadn’t seen the Fireboard before o I’ve been using ThermoWorks products for years for both home brewing and cooking, and rely on my ThermaPen and Dot. The Smoke was new for Thanksgiving as I smoked 4 turkeys.
