I have to ask. Does the Smoke have the little magnets on the back like my DOT? They work so great on the horseshoe handles on my PBC.

Congrats troymeister! I used mine on my last cook and it worked great as expected. Crazy easy to set up and using my ChefAlarm and DOT probes means I have plenty of spares. Maybe I need a Smoke spare...hmmmm.

Well.....when all of the Mavericks I have quit working I might consider on getting the Smoke but they are still going strong

I think I'm with ya. I struggle daily with that thought, then go back to 'but it's for R&D' then back to 'no I really don't need it, I'd rather spend $100 on wine'.
