Javelin Instant Read $25 - 2-3 Seconds

I ordered this thermometer, due to the shipping speed capabilities of Amazon until my Smoke arrived, and it is pretty awesome. Good solid build, and it pulls the read in 2 or 3 seconds. Just an FYI if you are like me, and needed a quick, reliable, and cheap option to fill a need. I love it thus far!!

I've had one for the last six months, and I'm very pleased with it, plus the magnet makes it easy to keep on the vent hood right where I need it when cooking.

I really like the Lavatools thermos. I have a couple of the small ones that I bought a year ago and a couple of the larger Pro models. I have a couple older model Thermapens (my oldest Thermapen is about 8 years old) which are nice but I think the Lavatools Javelin Pro is just as good and a much better value. I really like the temp hold feature of the Javelin Pro.

I think the small Lavatools Javelin is much better than the Thermoworks Thermopop. I hate my Thermopop and never use it.

Digits too small, buttons too hard to push, don't like the fixed probe and need for a sheath so I don't stab myself. Found the rotating display more of a pain than of use.
