Finally got a chance to try the gift my brother-in-law sent me. ( Digi-Sense thermometer ) Cooked a whole chicken - spatchcocked - and used it side by side with my MK4. I was impressed, read as fast as the MK4 and was just as accurate. It did come with a certificate of calibration. Now with that being said it is not as user friendly as the MK4 but it does more. Since it is a three function tool ( infrared - probe and timer ) you do have to take the time to tell the thing ( push buttons ) what you want to do. I love my MK4, but I see using the Digi-Sense as an additional tool. I loved the infrared to ck the temp of my grates as well as the diffuser plate on my pellet grill. I would love to see Max do a review on it.
