Earlier this week, my (almost) year old black ChefAlarm died. It stopped recognizing probes. On Thursday (14th) around noon, I called Thermoworks Customer Service. The very nice gentleman with whom I spoke asked me to describe the problem and two minutes later he told me that he'd have a new replacement tested and shipped ASAP. It arrived this morning (16th) just before 0800. You just can't ask for better service than that! Those folks will keep my business forever ...

Cookers:
Large Big Green Egg with a Ceramic Grill Store rack system, and the SnS setup.
Weber Genesis SA-E-330 LP INDIGO with SS Grates, Weber Crafted frame kit, baking stone, griddle (2/3), all from Ace Hardware.
For the first time in a long time I have no kettles as I gave them all away.
Everything Else:
SnS #3 with certificate. I was their first customer.
Sous Vide equipment.
SnS and Thermoworks instant read and leave-in thermometers.
Grill Grates for BGE.
Kingsford Blue Bag, Weber lighter cubes, Weber charcoal chimneys.
Rubs with salt: Meat Church Holy Cow.
Rubs without salt: Home-mixed versions of previously sold SnS Grills Rocky's Rub and Not Just for Beef using their recipe. SPOG.
Spices: Lots of 'em.
That is good to hear MBMorgan! I have 3 ChefAlarms, 1 DOT and several pit and meat probes, a Thermapen and a Themapop. Quality products and great customer service usually come with a higher price and for me it is worth paying for.

+1^
Quality simply isn't free.
The short sweet taste of low price is all too often replaced by the bitter taste of poor quality for a long time.

I think You Gents are alluding to something a fellow taught me nye on 40 Yrs Ago! The Quality should be evident long after the Price is Forgotten! From a Backyard Cremator in Fargo ND, Dan

Other useful bits...
KitchenAid 7-qt Pro Line stand mixer
A Black & Decker food processor that I can't seem to murder
A couple of immersion blenders, one a "consumer" model & the other a "high end" Italian thing. Yes, the Italian one is a bit better, but only marginally
