...Thermoworks sent out the email today that a new, faster instant read thermometer will be released in two weeks. So the speculation in Josh's thread was correct as to why there were clearance offers on the TP-1

Anything slower than a Thermopen is a pain. Unless it's measuring the early stages of fudge making, then I find some patience.

Here’s what I been able to find…

The new one is called the Thermapen Nano. It will read in a whopping .4 seconds. O_o
It’s slightly lighter and thinner than the ONE. It also has a brighter screen and a button on the back to instantly switch from F to C. No more removing the cover to do that. It also has a built in magnet…so the silicone boot is no longer needed for that function. Looks like I might be giving away some Mk4s. ;-)
