Ok, I was extremely reluctant to buy this thing for my Fireboard 2 Pro. Previously in my Roughneck (about 10' from my sliding glass door) I had to throw the fireboard in a baggie (rain and or morning dew in that location) and have it within a foot or two from the grill for the pulse to read. No big deal except when I move some items to the oven to hold while cooking others.
On my MAK (about 2' from the door) I could keep the fireboard inside unless I was running physical probes.
Anyway, on a whim I got the antenna. So today when my meat hit wrap and oven temp, I am still reading the temp of the Roughneck (wanna see how long these coals in the configuration I have them go) and the Pulse in the oven about 45' away and multiple walls and interference devices. It is at 12-30% signal but its not an issue at all.
