MAverick ET-733 tutorial

I bought this thing 6-2014 and used it once. I find the instructions quite confusing and gave up on it. The part I gave up on was setting alarm points.

Just how the hell do you do that? It's really not a user friendly unit. I get that it does a lot and is versatile but man, I'm getting old in my slow age and having to think this much just hurts LOL.
Maybe it is just me but does anyone have any simple setup instructions to take and set probe 1 to tell me when I reach a certain setpoint so I know my butt is cooked?

Morganjim, here's a Youtube tutorial video on it. At about the 5:35 mark he goes into setting alarms.

I had the same issue. I had to play with it quite a bit to figure it out. The instructions were written by a masochist.
