I want to get a thermometer for the Church camping trip we are going in today. I had my admin order a standard TP19 from Amazon, but it may not arrive before wet leave. Is the TP19HW similar in its quality that y’all know of? That is the version that Walmart keeps in stock.
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

The one with "H" on it appears to be the cheaper, slower (3-4 secs) version of the TP19 (2-3 secs). I cannot find info on this, but I suspect the "W" in the TP19HW means Walmart. I could be wrong with that. Unless you need NASA level exacts I suspect you'll be plenty fine with that one. Try it in boiling water first to make sure you're in the neighborhood of accuracy.
