Headline is self-explanatory. Melted my Maverick as I had it on the side of my Weber Bullet. So I guess I'll be asking for a new thermometer for Christmas. I don't do too much smoking, but need something to monitor smoker temp and food temp. So, I'm open to suggestions as to what to get next that won't break the bank.

I’ve loved my Thermoworks Smoke as well, but if you could dig a little deeper I’d highly recommend going with the Signals instead. It connects through your home WiFi to the web enabling monitoring of the cook on your phone from anywhere. Love the extra freedom that provides, I can make a run to the store or take a long walk and still keep an eye on the temperature. It’s also rechargeable so no batteries to buy, versus the Smoke. And you could later get a Billows for it if you want to go that route. Now would be the time to buy, it’s $85 off.

The Thermoworks Smoke can connect to your wifi with the addition the Gateway. Thermoworks is currently including the Gateway for free with the Smoke. $89 for the package. I think I paid close to $200 for the Smoke and Gateway a few years ago. https://www.thermoworks.com/smoke/ -
