Me likes the Lavatools Javelin PRO LE

Just couldn't shell out the $100 (retail price) for a digital thermometer, but did see an alternative at half the price. Now I understand that the Thermapen Mk4 is an excellent product and being the 'Cadillac' of digital instant read thermometers. However, I have been using the Lavaworks Javelin PRO LE for about a month and have to say - it's a great product. Reads in about 2-3 seconds, is a good size to handle, back light is nice and readable, nice magnet, and a longer reach probe than the Javelin that was reviewed by amazingribs.com. Just though t I'd share my experience. Will use it more and if there are any issues will share them....

I have the smaller version of the Javelin and I love it!
