I am smoking a brisket today and I went to use my Maverick ET-733 and it will not stay connected unless I am right beside the sending unit, I installed new batteries and I am unsure what else I can do? It may be time to replace it? I liked this device but it was difficult to program, You Tube videos helped a lot.

Cookers:
Weber Kettle
Oklahoma Joe’s Bronco
Backwoods G2 Party Smoker
Tools:
Classic Thermopen
Thermoworks Smoke X2
SNS-500
Billows
SNS
Chimney starter
Mercer slicer
BergHoff boning knife
Rescue Brush
@Panhead John's old FoodSaver
Grilling apron with thermometer holder
Cookbooks:

I had one of those and replaced it with Thermoworks Smoke x2 and realized that it had been over stating ambient temperatures…getting the smoke x2 made my cooks take closer to the proper amount of time!

fav is brisky. Love Turkey on PBC. also Turkey in the glass,(any nice bourbon)
Bud has always been my barley pop.
Been smoking a handful of years, just got serious in the last two or three years. Thanks to AR n @glemn picked up an SnS Kamado for appx 1/3 price of new. I dont think he used it twice. Love AR! keep calm n smoke on! Miss you Bonesy.
Thermoworks are great. If I had to do over I would look at Meater block w/multi probes or Combustion Inc. Sooner than later CI will get their act together. I am not a fan of wired probes. PIA!
