    Temperature control

    I bought 1 x WIFI BBQ Temp Control Kit with 20CFM blower, 3-Probe, 2nd Gen. (KIT-3615-20)
    Included Probe Clip
    Blower Adapter Option 10 & 20 CFM Ball Valve Adapter
    Probe 1 Option Pit Probe (WS-SENSOR17)
    Probe 2 Option Meat Probe (WS-SENSOR18A)
    Probe 3 Option Meat Probe (WS-SENSOR18A)


    Platinum rated by AR. But about half the price of most of the other brands. It arrived without a manual or directions. So they sent me to multiple instructions on line.

    Yesterday I spent hours attempting to download the app to my I-Phone. I was ready burst a blood vessel or scream at the top of my lungs because I was done.

    The doorbell rang and my youngest daughter with her entire family were at the door. I say this because my son in law is my family geek guy. I was saved! A couple hours later he had me all hooked up. User friendly so far is not a fair description of the product.

    Today was going to be rib day but but I have thought better of this decision and will waste some charcoal to see if I really have any control of the temperature in my smoker.​

      Yeah, I used a couple Aubers and they worked awesome, but their was some page, with values I never heard of, I was using to tweak cycles and outputs only to find out my fan wasn't big enough. Easy correction, brutal road to get there.

    My first test was pretty impressive.
    Control was set to 225 degrees.
    The fan came on and brought the smoker temp to 245.
    Fan shut off and temp dropped to 225 over 30 minutes
    Temp remained at 225 for over 4 hours with no deviation.

    So no food but smokers insulation was impressive. It will be interesting how both components work with a water pan and cold meat inside the smoker.​
